Introduction of file conversion services in stl and obj format to CAD compatible format
Dear visitor
Thank you for visiting our page
If an stl file. or you have an .obj that needs to be converted to a CAD-compatible format for operations such as CNC machining, you've come to the right place.
STL (stereolithography) files are 3D files consisting of many triangles that are mainly used for 3D printing and are not very suitable for mechanical CAD formats. Similarly, scanned files are usually in stl/.obj format.
On the other hand, .Step (.stp) files have transparent surfaces and fewer faces to work with, making them a universal file format supported by most CAD software.
After working with numerous clients over the years, I have developed a method for successfully converting stl files to .step or .iges formats. However, the success of the conversion depends on the complexity of the file and the number of faces, with the possibility of data loss of up to 2-4% depending on the geometry type.
With that said, let's get down to business.
