As an experienced musician with a deep understanding of harmony and improvisation, I specialize in crafting unique arrangements without the need for sheet music. My background in popular genres, particularly JAZZ, equips me to bring your songs to life with or without sheet music, should you choose to provide it. In addition to my freelance work, I am also a dedicated full-time musician with the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra.
I utilize a variety of instruments, including acoustic and electric cello, electric bass, double bass, kamancheh, and Saz Baglama. My recordings are produced in a professional studio, utilizing 20 to 30 channels of strings. I layer recordings of cello, double bass, violin, and viola, using a single musician to replicate a full string section. This method avoids phase cancellation by using specific techniques to achieve an authentic and cohesive sound without phase issues.
My string arrangements are informed by an in-depth study of both classical and popular music harmony and improvisation.
